　　With the general standard of living improving and the working week becoming shorter， more and more people are able to make a holiday trip to places of interest. While many like to join package tours fro convenience， I prefer to travel on my own.

　　I like travelling on may own not only because it costs much less but because it gives a great degree of independence and freedom. Travelling on my own， I＇m my own boss； and can decide when to start on my way， where to linger a little longer and which spot can be skipped over to save energy or time for another spot. I can always adjust my plan. On the contrary， in a package tour you＇re deprived of as much freedom as in a military base. At the sound of the whistle， you have to jump up from a sound sleep and， with heavy-lidded eyes， hurry to the gathering place where you are collected and counted to board a coach. At the sight of the little flag waving， you must immediately take yourself away from the scenes you are marveling at and follow the guide whose sole interest is to cover all spots according to him strict schedule， regardless of the weather or your health condition.

　　True， you may encounter inconveniences if you travel individually， for instance， getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals. But nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip mainly to escape from constraints of his routine life.

　　Travel-mate WantedI’m a 19-year-old female sophomore named Fu Ping. I hereby earnestly invite a foreign young lady—college student preferred—to make a three – week touring trip with me.My plan is to set off next weekend, when the summer vacation officially begins. The first stop is Kunming, the world-renowned city for its beauty and mild temperature. We’ll get there by train and stay there for 2 days, and then we’ll head for Jinggangshan, a former revolutionary base as well as a natural beauty spot. After a 3-day visit there , we will take a long-distance coach to a nearby port city by the Changjiang River and board a downstream ship to Shanghai, so that we can enjoy the great scenery alongside the third longest river in the world. As everybody knows, Shanghai is the busiest and fastest developing city in China. I’d like to have a look at its prosperity, so the stay there will be about half a week. And a famous Chinese saying goes, ”Just as there is Paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on Earth ”, so a 4-day visit to these two cities near Shanghai is must. 　　We also went to the Palace Museum.The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces.It has a very long history.I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum.What nice palaces these are!I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited.If you want to know more about the Palace Museum,you can go to Beijing and have a look.

　　The following days,we went to the Summer Palace,Tian Tan,North Lake and Xiang Hill.I now know more about the history of China.I also like modern Beijing.The 20xx Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

　　Later,I went back with my parents by train.I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.

　　盼哪盼哪，終于讓我盼到了，小姨抱著愉快的心情，和我們坐著105路汽車，直奔歡樂谷。

　　到了歡樂谷，我真想要馬上沖進歡樂谷，玩?zhèn)�夠。

　　我們在歡樂谷里玩了許多刺激的游戲，例如礦山車，雪山飛龍，完美風暴，太空梭，還有……但是最好玩的`，同時也最搞笑的還是北極探險了。

　　我們排了很長的隊，終于功夫不負苦心人哪，輪到我們玩了。我和弟弟興沖沖的坐上車子，拿起xx，準備出發(fā)。已經出發(fā)了很久了，可我只有118分，但是，弟弟卻有227分了，我不服氣，便大聲的沖著弟弟嚷：“喂，你不要打了，你已經有228分了！”弟弟見了，說：“我還要打到400分呢！”我不服氣，便打了他一下。他就打了我一下。一會兒，我們便打起架來，后面的大姐姐看了，情不自禁地開懷大笑。

　　時間過得飛快，轉眼間，寒假過去了。但是，歡樂谷的身影卻永遠留在我的心里。
