　　親愛的老師，同學們，你們好！今天我演講的題目是《祖國就是我的母親》。

　　“劉祎，回老家看看吧？”兩年前的暑假中，爸爸再一次問我。我還是那句老話：“不，要回你自己回！”這時，勾起了我以前回家鄉(xiāng)看奶奶的情景：我們睡在底矮的茅屋里，沒有蚊帳，晚上蚊叮蟲咬，害得我整宿整宿睡不著覺；門前是一堆堆的牛糞，又臭又臟，泥濘的路到處是水潭子，如果不小心踩到水潭子，整個腳就陷下去，好不容易把腳抽出來，可鞋子卻留在泥潭里……爸爸好像看出了我的心思，對我說：“現(xiàn)在回家鄉(xiāng)看看，看看你還認得奶奶的村莊、奶奶的屋嗎？�！蔽野蛋档叵耄哼@是真的嗎？于是我就跟著爸爸坐著汽車回家鄉(xiāng)了。

　　來到了羅山彭新鄉(xiāng)下，�。≌婷�！難道這是我的眼睛花了？我揉了揉眼睛，沒有呀？本來以前那坑坑洼洼、崎嶇不平的小路，現(xiàn)在已變成一條平平坦坦的柏油路，路兩旁種滿了花草樹木，蜜蜂在唱歌，蝴蝶在跳舞，這幾年村里的樓房就像雨后的春筍般一排排地拔地而起。我和爸爸來到奶奶家，哇，兩層的樓房，墻壁刷得雪白雪白的，如同粉裝玉砌。家具也嶄新的，刻著龍鳳圖案。房子很大很大，他們再也不用灶頭煮飯了，都換成沼氣爐，方便快捷……和奶奶住在一起的叔叔帶我走進一個房間，掀開桌上的一塊花布，呀，這正是我再熟悉不過的東西——電腦。叔叔熟練地操縱著電腦，猶如在彈鋼琴一般。我想不到家鄉(xiāng)人的素質(zhì)提高得那么快！家鄉(xiāng)人也在展望未來，放眼世界。吃過午飯，我悠閑地在村邊散步，看見遠處那些農(nóng)民不再用牛拉犁耕地，而是用各式各樣的拖拉機犁地。

　　家鄉(xiāng)的人變了，地變了，交通也方便了，樓房、電話、手機、電腦，城里人有的，他們也都有了。是什么魔力帶來了這么巨大的變化呢？我百思不得其解，回家，我問奶奶，奶奶笑著說：“還是黨的政策好，村村通公路這個目標實現(xiàn)了，農(nóng)業(yè)稅免交了，學生上學不交費了，人人都有醫(yī)療養(yǎng)老保險了，你說我們還羨慕城里人的生活嗎”。我恍然大悟，原來這都是祖國的功勞哇！
