It is very important to deal with the rubbish in cities. For one thing, rubbish may cause a lot of pollution. It may pollute the air, the water and the places we live in. For another, it may do harm to peoples health.
So in our city, rubbish is well dealt with. First, it is sorted. Then old newspapers and glass are recycled. The harmful wastes are buried and the waste water is cleaned before it goes into the river. The government has already made laws against pollution caused by rubbish.
But thats not enough. We must all try our. best to prevent rubbish from polluting the environment so as to. save our city and our living place.

To protect the environment， governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution， to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore， governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.
In my opinion， to protect environment， the government must take even more concrete measures. First， it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second， much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice， because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally， those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
目前環(huán)保還存在著許多問題.最嚴(yán)重的問題就是空氣、水和土壤的嚴(yán)重污染.污染的空氣對人類的健康十分有害.污染的.水引起疼病，造成死亡.更有甚者，隨著現(xiàn)代社會的迅速擴(kuò)建，植被大大的減少.
為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，各國政府做了超多的工作.采用了立法措施控制大氣污染，保護(hù)森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染.因此，在當(dāng)今的環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用.
我的看法是，為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，政府應(yīng)當(dāng)采取更具體的措施.首先，應(yīng)當(dāng)透過教育的方法使人們充分謒到環(huán)境保護(hù)的重要性.第二，應(yīng)更加努力把計(jì)劃生育政策付諸實(shí)施，因?yàn)槿丝诙嗑鸵馕吨廴緡?yán)重.最后，要嚴(yán)懲那些故意破壞環(huán)境者.使他們破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自我.
