　　It was October 12th yesterday. My friends held a birthday party for me. In the morning, they came to my home early, and they brought many presents for me. I liked them very much. I invited them to the KTV, we sang songs, danced and played games. About 5:30 p.m., we went my home. My mother had cooked a delicious dinner for us.

　　After dinner, we watched TV and at about 8:30 p.m. we ate birthday cake. There were fifteen candles on my birthday cake. I made a silent wish, and then I blew the candles out in one breath. I had an interesting birthday party. We had a good time in the party. I was so grateful to what they did for me.

　　如今，我又一次發(fā)現(xiàn)英語比什么科目都重要，上大學(xué)過英語四級最重要的事情之一。但是我的英語水平太一般，每次的期末考試試卷難度不是很大，成績卻也不高，主要是因?yàn)樯洗髮W(xué)也不怎么學(xué)習(xí)英語了！但是考四級要得是自己的真實(shí)才能，平時不努力學(xué)習(xí)，想要憑借運(yùn)氣，這就不科學(xué)了，而且我的'運(yùn)氣一直不好，所以我沒有想過不努力會有收獲。

　　一直都有人告訴我們英語四級考試是很困難的，過關(guān)率普遍不高，而且你又是一個不擅長英語的，就更不行了，所以要努力學(xué)習(xí)英語。老師與一個學(xué)長建議我們先買一個真題做一做，而且要努力。我現(xiàn)在才意識到，如果當(dāng)初我的英語水平低的時候，就努力提高，現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)什么問題都沒有了吧！
