Love in Campus
Nowadays, campus love is popular. Some college teachers argue that students should give up love for the sake of learning. They maintain that love is time consuming and influences one’s learning. Some students, however, hold that a student who falls in love will study harder and will make greater progress. They don't believe that a person in love lags behind in his studies.
There are different kinds of love on campus. Some students regard love as killing time or adding color; some are pragmatic, thinking it's difficult to find a better partner after graduation; the purpose of others is for seeking the impetus of study. Anyhow, far away from home and alone, seeking friendship, understanding and love, the boys and girls easily find comfort and appreciation from one another.
As a mater of fact, love is a sharp double-bladed knife. Having it will make you very happy; while losing it, you always feel disappointed and depressed. When the bond of love broken, going on studying as usual or sinking lament or even being crazy depend on us. We will not let romantic entanglement interfere with our studies.
Love is a natural and quiet. During the process of love we will experience romantic love, frustrating love and critical love and real love. True love will overcome our pain and dismay, warm our heart, and spark our spirit with delight forces but not resistance.

The breakaway group in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region says over 89% percent of voters backed independence in its referendum on Sunday.
Roman Lyagin, head of the Central Electoral Commission of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic:
"We have decided to announce the results immediately. Each one of you can see for yourselves that this election was fair. Each one of you was able to visit the polling stations. And we have called you here to give you the results as soon as we had calculated them. We can see that the turnout percentage is quite high but is not a record for a Ukrainian plebiscite (vote) - 74.87 percent."
Donetsk is one of two regions holding referenda on independence from Ukraine.
The results from the other region, Lugansk, suggest that some 96% may have voted for self-rule.
About 3 million ballots have been distributed in towns and cities in the two regions, which have a total population of 6.6 million.
However, Ukrainian authorities and Western countries have denounced the controversial referenda as "illegal."
British Foreign Secretary William Hague:
"These votes (in eastern Ukraine), these attempts of referendum have zero credibility in the eyes of the world, they are illegal by any bodies, standards, they don't meet any standard, not a single standard of objectivity, transparency, fairness, or being properly conducted as a public referendum or election and indeed the people organising them didn't pretend to meet any of those standards."
Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans has said he expects EU foreign ministers meeting in Brussels on Monday to agree to expand sanctions against Russia over Ukraine.
Washington and its European allies are focusing their efforts on the presidential polls in Ukraine scheduled for May 25, and have warned Moscow against disrupting the vote.
However, Russia has said it respects the choice of the people in the two regions of Ukraine, while hoping that the implementation of the referendum results to be processed along civilized lines.
The referenda have been held after Crimea joined Russia in March following an independence referendum in the southern Ukraine peninsula, which was not recognized by Kiev and the West.
Russia is estimated to have some 40,000 troops near the border with Ukraine and says they have been pulled back, but Nato says it has seen no sign of this.

Complaint is common in life. There are always things not satisfactory to people. It is easy to criticize and find fault with others. The nagging person is always complaining. He complains about his leader, his colleagues and even his wife. His grievnnee and grumbling makes both himself and others unhappy. Complaint mends no holes. Instead it results ha hostility between beth the giver and the receiver of the complaint.
The man who is a failure is loud of picking holes in others. A man of success is always praising others for their merits, for he sees only the strong points of others and learns from their strong points to enlarge his own ego.
The man who complains only sees the weak points of others and he thinks that he himself is perfect. So he learns little or nothing from others, and, by and by. he loses his own superiority.
What we should do is the opposite of complaint-- praise. An ounce of praise is worth a pound of criticism. A man of good wishes always respects others and appreciates their work and efforts. He congratulates others on their achievements and succeoses. He feels happy about them as it they were his own. He speaks highly of them. In return, he himself is respected and appreciated.
So, let us complain less and praise more, in order to make our world full of good wishes.

In a GREat hurry，I didn＇t hear clearly the head waiter＇s instruction that we should go into the kitchen through one door and out from the other。So when I took two plates of eggs and bacon and an orange juice out to the restaurant，I went straight towards the wrong door and collided with another waiter coming in!
Worst of all was that I wore a pair of smart shoes but with high heels! A few hours later I was in agony yet had no time to change them。 By the time we finished serving dinner at about 10:30 I was completely exhausted。 Nevertheless， I learnt something through my experience。
