　　On January 26, my family and friends went to Chiang Mai, Tailand to Mae Taeng Elephant Park.

　　It was so hot, and the sun was so bright. I was sweating a lot! I was still wearing trousers, because my mom said, “When you ride the elephant, the fur of elephant is so scratchy, so you need to wear something on your legs to protect your skin.”

　　We went to watch the elephant shows. The elephants is drawing a picture. It was so beautiful; even better than me! The elephants played a game of football! They even danced and sang a song.

　　The most exciting part was riding the elephant. The elephant was so high, and it walked so slowly and heavily. It made me feel so scared because the elephant was always moving. We gave the elephant a banan. It was so fun! I was scared it would bite my hand.

　　I have a lot of good memories about Chiang Mai, Tailand and I’ll never fotget it!

I wish the saplings would grow up quickly.

　　In recent years, studying abroad has been popular in our country. More and more middle school students would like to go abroad through mediators. Is it good or bad to study abroad? In my opinion, on one hand, it has some advantages. Studying abroad can provide better studying conditions. People can make rapid progress in their foreign language study and it can also help widen their field of vision. Meanwhile, young students can learn advanced science and technology from foreign countries and spread cultures of different nations.

　　On the other hand, it has disadvantages. For example, because of the lack of living experience and poor capability to take care of themselves, they may feel lonely and homesick. In addition, high living expenses and tuition fees will become a heavy burden upon their parents.

　　So I think whether studying abroad or not should be decided according to oneself and one’s family. It is not right to follow others.

　　近年來，出國留學(xué)在我國流行起來。越來越多的中學(xué)生想通過中介出國。出國留學(xué)是好是壞？在我看來，一方面，它具有一定的優(yōu)勢。出國留學(xué)可以提供更好的`學(xué)習(xí)條件。人們可以在國外得到外語學(xué)習(xí)的快速發(fā)展，它也可以幫助拓寬他們的視野。同時，年輕的學(xué)生可以學(xué)習(xí)國外先進(jìn)的科學(xué)技術(shù)和傳播各民族不同的文化。

　　另一方面，它也有缺點。例如，由于生活經(jīng)驗不足和自理能力差，他們會感到孤獨和想家。此外，國外留學(xué)的生活費用高，也給家長帶來了沉重的負(fù)擔(dān)。

　　所以我想是否出國學(xué)習(xí)應(yīng)該根據(jù)自己及家庭的情況決定。盲從他人是不好的。

　　早上，客廳里傳來了我讀英語的聲音，我以前英語學(xué)習(xí)的不太好，暑假爸爸讓我再學(xué)一遍。

　　我還沒睡醒，就迷迷糊糊開始讀了，說是讀，其實是跟著磁帶學(xué)，會的說一遍，不會的跟著磁帶亂說一通，很快就讀到了第四單元。

　　媽媽來檢查，前面幾個內(nèi)容還簡單，到了后面就有點吃不消了，怎么讀呀、意思是什么呀一個個問題出現(xiàn)在我的`腦子里，媽媽見我這么多都不會，叫爸爸來教我，爸爸教一個，我讀一個，后來還是一個記不住，只有硬著頭皮學(xué)，剛好英語書上有一個內(nèi)容題目叫“讀讀寫寫”，爸爸就讓我抄了一遍，這一抄，問題更大，要么拿筆姿勢不對，要么眼睛離書本太近，要么單詞書寫不規(guī)范……問題一個接一個。

　　我剛想抱怨英語單詞太難，可又一想，這全都怪我平時上英語課不認(rèn)真，老師講課時，我在底下傳紙條、做小動作、說話，根本沒把老師放在眼里，沒有意識到英語的重要性。聽爸爸說，上中學(xué)以后，英語和語文數(shù)學(xué)一樣重要，高考時英語不行也考不上好大學(xué)，就算考上了好大學(xué)，連英語都不會說，怎么和外國人交流？我可不想成為一個“少壯不努力，老大徒傷悲”的人。

　　想到這里，我決定暑假一定要補(bǔ)好英語：

　　一， 每天早上跟磁帶讀單詞，讀到會讀為止；

　　二， 每天早上聽寫十個單詞，寫到會寫為止；

　　三， 熟記課文意思，記會為止。

　　he was represented asa little naked boy ，with sparkling wings ，and he carried his bowand arrows wherever he wandered.shooting his thrilling arrows in evils ，he inspired the passion of love and provided all nature with life and power of reproduction.

　　the lovely ，naughty god had two kinds of arrows ：the gold tipped arrows used to quicken the pulse of love and the lead tipped ones to palsy it.

　　besides ，he had a torch to light hearts with. though sometimes he was blindfolded ，no man nor god ，zeus himself included ，was safe from his evils.

　　at one time the little naughty god was wounded by his own arrows and such burning love was awakened in him for the human maiden psyche that he disregarded the constant interference of his mother and plucked up his courage to beg zeus for justice.

　　another famous story where eros played an important part was the argonautic expedition.medea ，daughter of king aeetes ，was wounded by eros'' arrows，took jason''s part in recovering the golden fleece and eventually became the hero''s wife.
