時候，切不可盲目地追求大詞和生詞，讓閱卷老師感覺到晦澀難懂。因此，正確選擇詞匯就顯得非常重要了。那么，如何做到用詞的標(biāo)新立異呢？
首先，為了避免簡單重復(fù)，盡量使用同義詞和近義詞去表述。例如，增加可用increase,rise,grow,climb,go up,soar等；重要可用
important,critical,vital, significant,crucial等。但要注意詞匯的準(zhǔn)確性，即必須還要考慮適合的語境。例如：眼睛大，很顯然great,large,huge,vast,
titanic, enormous etc,這些大修飾眼睛是不恰當(dāng)?shù)模荒苁褂胋ig來修飾。
其次，多使用詞性變化來豐富自己的表達(dá)手段。和漢語一樣，變化詞性也是豐富英語表達(dá)的重要途徑，是提高英語水平的重要標(biāo)志。如果能夠用to voice some
different opinions 來替代to give/express some different opinions; 或to double/triple 來表示翻倍或增加三倍則會使文章在表達(dá)上更為形象而生動。
最后，多使用派生形式來點綴文章亮點。英語的構(gòu)詞特點就是使用前綴、后綴來完成靈活多變的語言特色。例如，It is of great

The seas and oceans receive the brunt of human waste, whether it is by deliberate dumping or by natural run-off from the land.
In fact over 80% of all marine pollution comes from land-based activities and many pollutants are deposited in estuaries and coastal waters. Here the pollutants enter marine food chains, building up their concentrations until they reach toxic levels. It often takes human casualties to alert us to pollution and such was the case in Minimata Bay in Japan when many people died as a result of a pollutant building up in food chains. A factory was discharging waste containing methyl mercury in low concentrations into the sea and as this pollutant passed through food chains it became more concentrated in the tissues of marine organisms until it reached toxic levels.
As a consequence 649 people died from eating fish and shellfish contaminated with mercury and 3500 people suffered from mercury poisoning.

It was so hot, and the sun was so bright. I was sweating a lot! I was still wearing trousers, because my mom said, “When you ride the elephant, the fur of elephant is so scratchy, so you need to wear something on your legs to protect your skin.”
We went to watch the elephant shows. The elephants is drawing a picture. It was so beautiful; even better than me! The elephants played a game of football! They even danced and sang a song.
The most exciting part was riding the elephant. The elephant was so high, and it walked so slowly and heavily. It made me feel so scared because the elephant was always moving. We gave the elephant a banan. It was so fun! I was scared it would bite my hand.
I have a lot of good memories about Chiang Mai, Tailand and I’ll never fotget it!
