　　i＇mwriting to apologize about last thursday. i am terribly sorry that i didn＇t go to see you, for i lost my wallet. anyway, i found it. but it was too late for the train. i had to take the bus. what a pity that i took a wrong one. it went to milford. there, i waited for half an hour for a bus to driffield. it was much worse that on the way to your home, the bus broke down. so i just went back home to pigston. i really do apologize because i didn＇t speak to you on the phone, but it wasn＇t my fault. i triedseveraltimes, butthere wasno answer.

　　【寫法指要】

　　1）這是一封私人信件。私人書信一般不寫信內(nèi)地址和信頭里的地址，但是信頭里的日期不能省去。

　　2）致歉信應(yīng)包括三個(gè)部分：①道歉（apology）；②敘述原因或問題（reason or problem）；③后果及解決辦法（consequence and solution）。

　　3）私人書信，尤其是親屬間和朋友間的信件屬于非正式書信，所以要用非正式文體來寫；就是說信文中可以出現(xiàn)縮約形式，如“i＇m writing”，“didn＇t”等，也可以用像“phone”這類非正式詞語。句法結(jié)構(gòu)簡短，隨便。
