　　老媽學(xué)英語的熱情日益高漲，因而我的苦難就日益加深，每當(dāng)老媽問我英文的時候，一般我都會先吃三片阿司匹林，纏好繃帶，再運(yùn)上龜背神功至第十二重。

　　這不，她老人家又來問我了——

　　老媽：“這個‘I＇m very annoyed，don＇t trouble me.’是什么意思？”

　　我說：“啊……這個……我很煩，別煩我……”

　　老媽：“找打，跟你媽這么說話！”(于是被扁)

　　As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a big city like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

　　Firstly, as to the Li Yang’s statement, his wife had said something bad about China, which has ruin his ability of tolerance. Therefore, his use violence to stop this. In my point of view, people once get married, they should understand each other, especially for mixed marriage. If their opinions diverge from each other, they should work it out in a peaceful way, not in a violent way. The worst as well as the best way is divorce.

　　Secondly, domestic violence gets anything good for family. Regardless the emotion break due to the violence, if it get worse, bone broken could be happen. What’s more, if the family have child, parents quarrel or fight in front of their children, there is no doubt that the child will have an unforgettable childhood phobia, it’s probably that he or she will become a violent people. Therefore, couples should control their hot temper, and have a chill mind when they about to quarrel.

　　In my humble opinion, I do not think these so-called lucky numbers can bring people good luck. Number stand for nothing but quantity. They are only some arbitrary symbols used for communication. Our ancestors created numbers for counting, not for luck. People believe number 8 can bring good fortune is only because the pronunciation of eight has almost the same sound of “fa cai” in Cantonese. The ironic part is the people who choose the number on purpose do not always make big money, while the people whose telephone numbers or car plate numbers contain 4 do not kick their buckets. Shakespeare said, “If we call a rose by any other name, it would smell sweet as well.” This means there is no connection between sound and meaning.
