Until very recently it was possible to use only natural materials of various kinds for the making of clothing.Both plants and animals supply these natural materials.From plants we get cotton and linen.From animals we get such materials as wool,silk,leather,and furs.
Modern man now has cloth which is made synthetically.In 1884 the first artificial fiber was made,called artificial silk,rayon,nylon and dacron are best-known products developed later.

在我剛上小學時，學好英語是我的一個大問題，每次看到英語字母時，就難過得想哭。
英語復雜，每天早上天不亮，我媽就用“獅吼功”把我從溫暖的被窩中叫起，讓我聽英語，說是多聽才會�？蓱z的我只好洗耳恭聽，可里面放的`句子，我是一個也聽不懂，越聽越像催眠曲，不一會兒，我的上眼皮就開始和下眼皮“打架”，漸漸地，眼睛就瞇了起來，還不等睡著呢，媽媽便過來了。如果被媽媽發(fā)現(xiàn)，自然少不了一頓臭罵，于是，我每次在媽媽來的時候，便裝出聚精會神的樣子，所以總能過關(guān)。但夜路走多了，難免會撞上鬼，我也有好幾次被媽媽發(fā)現(xiàn)，挨了一頓批評不說，聽英語的次數(shù)也增加了不少。
英語復雜，每天晚上做完作業(yè)后，媽媽總會讓我給她背單詞。每每到了這個時候，我恨不得把英語書全部都撕掉，讓媽媽再也不能考問我單詞。可這個美夢終究是不會實現(xiàn)的。我只好拖著沉重的步伐，走向客廳�？紗枙r，只要你走進我家，就會發(fā)現(xiàn)，一個小女孩坐在沙發(fā)上，正滿臉淚水，結(jié)結(jié)巴巴地背著單詞。沒錯！這就是我被媽媽考問單詞時的場景。每次，媽媽總是先讓我在陽臺上背單詞，認為自己背好了，再去找她。可每次，在陽臺上背時，張口就來，十分順利�？梢坏綃寢屆媲�，就像從來都沒有背過單詞一樣，那些英語字母就像小精靈一樣，在我的腦海里滑來滑去。當我準備將它們組成一個單詞時，他們卻又開始捉迷藏，總是讓我費好半天的勁兒，才將它們捉住，組成單詞，可常常把它們調(diào)換位置，或是讓他們搬家，有時多一個少一個也說不定。
英語同時也不復雜。我小學二年級時，媽媽看我學英語吃力，便給我報了一個英語興趣班。起初，我是拒絕的�？墒巧狭艘淮魏螅驮絹碓较肷狭�，越來越有興趣。從此，我的英語成績一飛沖天，跟班里英語尖子生差不多，我也越來越喜歡英語，對英語也越來越得心應(yīng)手。在后來的學習中也不吃力，反而更加輕松。

Mr. Liu, aged 58, is my English teacher. He is so humorous, responsible and selfless that I respect and love him very much.
To be honest, his assistance has a great impact on me. It was Mr. Liu who made me perceive the importance of learning English well. Had it not been for his guidance and encouragement, I couldn't have won the first place in the city English speech contest. Without his aid, I wouldn't have boosted my integrated skills in English. I'll definitely remember his kindness and help forever.
Mr. Liu is a very respectable teacher indeed! I do thank him for what he did for me.
