秦兵馬俑是世界八大奇跡之一，位于秦始皇陵的東側(cè)1.5千米處。它里面有許多姿態(tài)各異，大小不一，各具風(fēng)格的陶俑。據(jù)說把這些東西建在秦始皇陵的東方，可以在陰間保護(hù)秦始皇，使他在陰間也能過著和陽間一樣的生活。
秦兵馬俑在人們挖掘出來后，有四個(gè)坑，因?yàn)樗奶?hào)坑有坑無俑，因此參觀人少。這三個(gè)坑中，一號(hào)坑最大，約有陶俑6000個(gè)，最小的是三號(hào)坑，有陶俑918個(gè)。在所有坑中，二號(hào)坑的兵種俱全，推測此坑是總主力軍陣，此坑中的陶俑排列秩序井然，不像一號(hào)坑那般雜亂。
