　　“叮咚，叮咚”門鈴響了，我去開門，只見是爺爺。他滿頭大汗，手里捧著一本英語書，奶奶見了，嫌棄的說： “你這老頭，說要出去買東西，沒想到買來一本英語書……”還好有媽媽來解圍。要不然，一場口水大戰(zhàn)就要開始了。

　　爺爺走到我面前，用請求的'語氣對我說：“孫女，你能不能教教我英語？”看著爺爺那忠誠的眼神，我無可奈何地對爺爺說：“好吧 ！讓我先考一考您的基本功吧！”我拿出一張英語四線紙，寫出前幾個英語字母，后面的請爺爺寫。爺爺看了看，胸有成竹的對我說：“孫女，你是不是小看我了？雖然我已經(jīng)87歲了，但A B C D這些我都記得一清二楚，看我的吧！”果然，不到一會兒，爺爺就寫完了，他把那張紙交給我，我打眼一看，全錯！我失落地對爺爺說：“爺爺，看來你必須從基礎(chǔ)開始了！”我從倉庫里拿出一個白板和一支記號筆。開始從“零”開始。

　　In recent years, the death penalty has been aroused people’s attention and the heated discussions towards it are right on their ways.

　　On the one hand, some people hold that the death penalty should not be canceled. They argue that the death penalty can act as a threat or a limitation for the CRIminals. If the death penalty is canceled, the CRIminals will be more cruel and crazy, and that will be a bigger threat for people. In addition, cancelling the death penalty will weaken the effect of our laws.

　　一方面，有些人認(rèn)為死刑不應(yīng)該取消。他們討論認(rèn)為死刑可以作為對罪犯的威脅或限制。如果取消了死刑，罪犯會更加殘酷，更加瘋狂，這將是對人們的.更大威脅。此外，取消死刑會削弱法律的作用。

　　On the other hand, some people consider that the death penalty should be canceled. They point out that no matter what the CRIminals have done, they are still human beings. Each life is precious and we should respect each life. Besides, we should give another chance for the criminals to remedy their mistakes and amend themselves.

　　另一方面，有些人認(rèn)為死刑應(yīng)該取消。他們指出，不管罪犯做了什么，他們終究還是人。生命都是寶貴的，我們應(yīng)該尊重每一條生命。此外，我們應(yīng)該給罪犯一個彌補(bǔ)過錯，改過自新的機(jī)會。

　　Taking above into consideration, I am inclined to agree with the former. I suggest that we should remain the death penalty. Although the latter is right in some extent, I do not agree that those who murder deliberately should be forgiven and pardoned.

　　綜上所述，我傾向于同意前者的觀點(diǎn)。我建議保留死刑。雖然后者有一定的道理，但是我不認(rèn)為故意殺人的人應(yīng)該被原諒，被赦免。

　　Two weeks later， our English teacher Mr。 Brodie found us， “Do you guys like soccer？ Here is a social team of Massey High lacking members， do you want to join？” “Of course！” Answered by us without hesitation。 At weekend， with an excited heart， I arrived at the field to meet my new team partners。 Even before I stood up after changing into my soccer shoes， they came to me， shaking hands with me one by one and introduced themselves。 Some of them are kiwi； some are international students like me but came from South America （Guys from there always have amazing soccer skills just like people from China can use chopsticks well�。�。 During the game， I fought the best， creating the opportunities for partners。 Our efforts got the reward， because we became the winner at last and I won the cheer from my partners。 Although my friends and I performed well at the soccer game， we found the lack of strength compared with the kiwis。 So now， hard soccer training and push—up have become an indispensable part of our life。
