尋找小白花

　　暑假作業(yè)本里有一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)叫“水和神奇的花”，實(shí)驗(yàn)需要兩枝白色的花。為了完成作業(yè)，我只好冒著炎炎烈日出門尋找小白花。

　　There is an experiment called "water and magic flowers" in the summer homework. The experiment needs two white flowers. In order to finish my homework, I had to venture the scorching sun to go out looking for little white flowers.

　　我到了樓下，一眼望去，只看見一大片綠色的草坪，哪兒來的小白花呀！不過我還是十分認(rèn)真地到草坪里尋找著。功夫不負(fù)有心人，我發(fā)現(xiàn)不遠(yuǎn)處有一朵“大白花”，走近一看，原來是朵假花，真倒霉！

　　When I got downstairs, I saw only a large green lawn. Where are the little white flowers! But I still look for it in the lawn very seriously. I found a "big white flower" not far away. When I came closer, it turned out to be a fake flower. What a pity!

　　我剛剛垂頭喪氣地走出草坪，忽然眼前一亮，我發(fā)現(xiàn)小白花了。我急忙把它一拔，里面流出了白色的汁，原來我“千辛萬苦”找到的竟然是根本不能做實(shí)驗(yàn)的“吃奶草”（瑞安話）。

　　I just walked out of the lawn with a dejected head. Suddenly, I saw the little white flower. I pulled it out in a hurry, and the white juice flowed out of it. It turned out that what I "worked hard" to find was "milkweed" (Ryan's words), which could not do experiments at all.

　　累了半天，不但沒找到小白花反而浪費(fèi)了時(shí)間，我心有不甘呀！

　　Tired for a long time, not only didn't find the little white flower but wasted time, my heart is not willing!
